Η εικαστικός και εικονογράφος Αθηνά Παππά παρουσιάζει τη δωδέκατη ατομική της έκθεση στο μπαρ Στέπα (Ασκληπιού 61α) στα Εξάρχεια.
Η έκθεση τιτλοφορείται Moon in pisces με τον υπότιτλο Ιnstinct over Ιntellect και αποτελεί μια νύξη στη σημασία του ενστίκτου καθώς αυτό αποτελεί σύνδεση με τον εσωτερικό και το φυσικό κόσμο.
Η Αθηνά γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στη Θεσσαλονίκη και από πολύ μικρή έδειξε ενδιαφέρον για τις τέχνες και τη μουσική. Σπούδασε αρχιτεκτονική στο Δημοκρίτειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θράκης και εικονογράφηση στο Birmingham City University. Η δουλειά της εξερευνά τον συμβολισμό, τη σχέση ανθρώπου-φύσης και την ενδυνάμωση του θηλυκού. Συχνά εμπνέεται από την ποπ κουλτούρα, τη μαγεία και την πνευματικότητα. Περιγράφει το στυλ της ως dream pop.

MOON IN PISCES
-Instinct over intellect-
A girl, a witch, a dreamer
who is compassionate, creative, intuitive and connected.
Emerges from the dark and works her way up to the light.
She’s building unbreakable bonds with her sisters,
performing all kinds of known rituals under the sun and
tossing away anything that was forced on her by the conventional.
Prioritising her gut feeling, she’s sensing her way through life.
She gets how mind can rationalise anything but that don’t mean it’s right.
Am I speaking of a new truth or reminding you what you already know?
Even though it’s utterly up to you, look up for a moment and see
how the planets have aligned and the temperature is right and the Moon just gloriously moved
to Pisces.
